Within Beaver Lake Provincial Recreation Area, the Campground Area offers a large day-use beach with a life jacket loaner station, a day-use shelter, boat launch, and playground space. The Campground Store offers various grocery and camping supplies, along with hard-scoop ice cream and non-motorized boat (canoe, kayak, paddleboard) rentals for all your adventure needs. Nearby at Beaver Lake Provincial Recreation Area’s Group Use Area, there is another large day-use beach, a playground area, and approximately 7 kilometers hiking trails to enjoy.
Facilities:
Beaver Lake Provincial Recreation Area has two developed area, nearby each other for visitors: the Campground Area that has individual campsites and the Group Use Area that has several group camping sites.
The Campground Area has 15 full service (power/water/sewer) campsites, 59 power sites, and 15 unserviced campsites. This area has a shower house facility, playground, picnic area, boat launch, beach, drinking water, flush and vault toilets. All campsites are outfitted with firepits and picnic tables. Power services do vary for power sites thru the campground with 15 amp service, and 15/30 camp service.
The Group Use Area has 7 powered (15/30 amp) group sites, and 2 unserviced sites. All group sites are outfitted with picnic tables, firepits, and a drinking water tap. There is about 7km of hiking trails in this area, along with a playground, and a day-use beach area too. All toilets in this area are vault toilets.
The Beaver Lake Provincial Recreation Area Campground Store offers grocery and camping supplies, along with non-motorized watercraft rentals, and firewood sales. This is also the location where visitors need to check-in at for camping at individual sites and for group camping.
