Maqua Lake Provincial Recreation Area only permits non-motorized watercrafts (canoes, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards) for boating as power vessels are prohibited. The day-use area offers a parking area with picnic sites. There are 2 rustic unserviced group sites available for camping.

Maqua Lake Provincial Recreation Area provides a day-use area with picnic sites (which include picnic tables and firepits), along with a hand-launch area for non-motorized watercrafts. There are 2 group sites available for booking, each can accommodate up to 15 units. For booking the site there is a 5-unit minimum fee.
